Rassette Arts Festival

Welcome to the official home of the Rassette Arts Festival! Peruse at your leisure to find suggestions, Festival submissions, and more.

The Rassette Arts Festival (RAF) originated in 2005 as the Rassette Film Festival (RFF), and served as an opportunity for everyone to celebrate a family past time and honor the late Gene Rassette's love of movies.

The Festival has since undergone several changes resulting in creation of the RAF at the conclusion of the 2009 festival. These changes include two new categories--literature and music. As a result, the RFF became the RAF.

In 2011 we chose to open the RAF to visual arts which we loosely defined as any non-interactive piece of art. 2012 was the first year of this fun new component and resulted in a multi-way tie! And in 2017 our family had grown enough to incorporate a Children's RAF! We then chose to add a Recipe section to the festival in 2021, which has led to many delicious discoveries with cuisines from around the world.

This web site is the mechanism through which all members of the RAF are able to consider submissions, read reviews, analyze past choices, and participate in the Festival.
